Dolce & Gabbana has exciting plans to collaborate with developer Michael Stern on a condo tower project in Miami.
This renowned Italian fashion house is joining the trend of working with developers to create branded condos in South Florida as part of its global expansion into real estate. Dolce & Gabbana recently revealed its intention to develop two residential projects, one in Miami with Stern’s JDS Development Group, and another in Marbella, Spain with Sierra Blanca Estates.
In other real estate news, Major Food Group and JDS have decided to part ways after their initial partnership announcement for the 888 Brickell project. While no signed agreement was in place, Major Food Group is now working with Terra and One Thousand Group on a planned condo tower in Edgewater.
Meanwhile, JDS has other exciting developments on the horizon, including the nearby 1 Southside Park project in Brickell. The ambitious project comprises a 752-foot-tall tower with 1,000 apartments, 200 micro-units, a 200-room hotel, and 250,000 square feet of office space. As part of a deal with the city of Miami, JDS has committed to building an $8 million fire station on the ground floor and investing around $5 million in public benefits.
The branded residences trend is flourishing in South Florida, with Dezer Development and the Related Group recently announcing their partnership with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts for the Rosewood Residences in Hillsboro Beach. Several other luxury brands like Porsche Design, Armani/Casa, Aston Martin, Missoni, and Ritz-Carlton have also established their presence with impressive towers in Miami-Dade County. The collaboration between renowned fashion and lifestyle brands and real estate developers is redefining luxury living experiences in the region.
