Miami’s skyline to be graced with a 90-story skyscraper by Dolce&Gabbana.
In Miami, a city where most of the coastal metropolis’s skyline is silver or reflects blue skies and water through glass, a new skyscraper will stand out in black and ivory, topped with an elaborate gold crown.
The 90-story structure will be made of matte black steel beams, like the boning of a corset. It will reach a height of 1,049 feet, the maximum allowable height set by the Federal Aviation Administration. When completed in 2027, the skyscraper will tie for the title of tallest building in Miami with other flashy forthcoming projects, including the Waldorf Astoria Miami and Foster+Partners’ The Towers.
The Italian fashion house Dolce&Gabbana, known for its runway shows and red-carpet appearances, is making its first foray into real estate with a 90-story residential tower and 5-star hotel in Miami. Dolce&Gabbana Miami residences, located at 888 Brickell Avenue in Downtown Miami, will be a luxurious destination for those who want to live and sleep in style.
